Dry Suit

The dry suit is the most common exposure suit used in British waters as it keeps the diver warm and dry all year round despite the temperature.

Using a dry suit can make your diving more comfortable and extend your dive season. You can stand up to the elements and take advantage of the generally better visibility offered by winter months, especially at inland dive sites such as ours.

This two dive course will teach you the proper techniques in using a dry suit, as well as day-to-day maintenance and care.

During the course you will learn about different types of drysuit and undergarments to help you to make an informed decision when you decide to buy a dry suit, buoyancy control and the following skills:-

To take part in this course you will need to be a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water diver  (or hold an equivalent qualification from another training agency) and be at least 10 years old.

The theory will be covered in a classroom session covering all aspects of dry suit diving before commencing your confined water session followed by 2 dives.

The cost of the course is £175, takes just one day and includes all equipment, manual, certification and air fills.  Please don’t hesitate to contact us for available course dates.
